Center for Employment Training
The Center for Employment Training was founded in San Jose, California during the year 1967. It has evolved with time to become a national network with branches in certain states. San Jose’s main campus has permitted students to go for a five days- per week training. The training which is in a career based profession takes a time duration of six to seven hours per day. The training also involves gaining skills in a particular field and proceeds at a unique pace so as to ensure that the trainees become adept in their various field of training. This is enhanced by the provision of diverse industrial expertise and necessary assistance from the highly experienced instructors. The Center thus is an example of an ideal learning environment that produces thousands of successfully trained individuals on an annual basis.
The Center provides vocational training programs that give individuals a platform for a successful future. The different hands-on skilled careers that you can train on include; Machine tool operator, building maintenance technician, forklift operator, automotive maintenance technician, truck driver, electric repair specialist, warehouse operator, HVAC installation and service technician or wielding fabricator. Other skill training courses include PC technician, business office technician, accounting clerk, retail specialist or early childhood teacher.
Once you have completed your training at the Center for Employment Training, you will obtain placement assistance in a long term job. This service involves matching your skills with that of an employer, consequently leading to an interesting and satisfactory career. The Center for Employment is a non profit institution that ensures its students get the necessary knowledge, skills and self confidence that are important in ensuring a promising future.
